OPEL KADETT GTE GR2

OPEL KADETT GTE Gr2. An interesting car in terms of its construction: it is fitted with period Kugelfisher injection, a dry sump and rear discs.

This OPEL KADETT GTE Gr2 is a 1900 model with a 2000cc engine, worked cylinder head, with big valves, ST17 camshaft and adjustable camshaft pulley. This engine has a fully balanced bottom end, with a lightened and polished crankshaft.

A rare feature is that it is fitted with a dry sump and therefore with an oil sump in the boot. It has 2000 km and produces around 175 bhp.

The gearbox is a ZF close ratio, 5-speed, two bevel gears are available: 4.75 mounted in the axle, and a 4.22.

The axle is fitted with a self-locking system.

Front brakes: ventilated discs with Lockheed callipers

Rear brakes: discs and single-piston callipers

A pedal box is fitted, with adjustable front/rear brake distribution.

The bodywork is in very good condition

This car does not have a PTH. In its current configuration, it can compete in the Classic category of historic hill climbs. To obtain a Historic Technical Passport, it will need to be fitted with up-to-date safety accessories (bucket seats, roll bar, seat belts, etc).
