Sell Mallock Mk 32/33, Sport Prototype 2L , Chassis N°001/1996, the continuation of the 1994 Mk32.

Arthur Mallock built his first car, the U2, in 1948, and founded the Mallock company in 1958...
The company then became a family business, and with his eldest son Richard, developed 36 models and built more than 400 cars.

The Mk32 was the last model developed by Arthur Mallock. His son Richard took over the running of the factory.

The car on display is powered by a Vauxhall 2-litre engine developing 248 bhp. It is mated to a Staff sequential gearbox.

It has been through the wind tunnel of the Ecosse team, whose youngest son, Ray Mallock, was linked to it (it was he who was behind the return of the Jaguars XJR 9 (Silk Cut) to Le Mans in 1987 (TWR)).
It was one of a series of 12 cars built for the Vauxhall Challenge, which it won in 1997 (see period photo).

It returned to the factory in 2004 where it was fully restored, chassis, engine, bodywork and upgraded to Mk33.

Between 2004 and 2016, it only took part in a few track days and hill climbs, as at the time it was not historic enough to enter any British historic challenges.

It was the SportProtos Cup that brought her out of her torpor, yes she competes in the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 championships. In 2018, it finished 1st in the 2-litre category (behind three Alfa V6s) in the SportProtosCup / HVM / FFSA.
